Christmas 2010

We had a great time this year preparing for Christmas and a good Christmas day too.
One of the thing we did this year was to visit Christmas lights. As William is too small for a prolong outdoor trip to the temple for lights with the weather being in the 20's F. We found that one of the nearby towns have a drive though 3 mile light display. just the thing for us... we had a great time, stayed warm, eat cookies and the baby slept through it all!
here are just a few photos, most came out blurry!
There was lights going over the road

And story telling on the sides

And lots of toys in lights too.

alot of them where moving lights alot of animals as it was in a nature reserve. this video is of our favorite one.
Christmas clean up.

Yes it's that time of year to clean out the toy box ready for new toys. Not that the toys stay in the box as this picture show the state of the boys room is in most of the time!.

Christmas day

We had a great day, the boys got alot of outdoor play stuff including baseball mitts and snow discs ( we didn't have anything to play in the massive snow falls of last winter). We are now waiting for snow to fall.

They also got robot bugs and Wii games including Lego harry potter! and figure to war game with Dad.

William got a walker, just in time as he has found his feet and wants to stand all the time. He's just a little too small.
And I finally got my laptop, Ashton feels alittle left out now and wants his own computer, We tell him that is not going to happen anytime soon as mom's own computer took 10 years to get!

'Our' Gingerbread house

We exchange Goodies boxes with Sherri and family each year at Christmas time and have fun with east/west goodies.
This year Sherri and Family decided to theme their's the 12 days of Christmas and we are having a great time opening each present each morning trying to guess before hand what it will be.
One of the days was the stuff to make gingerbread house. There have been great debate over how many houses, ie each of us having a house.with this there was the questions over who will do Wil's house?. Or if we should do One great big house, Ashton wanted a church!!. But we finally decided on THE Great house, The 'White House'. Oh did we have fun..... thank you Sherri for sending enough powdered sugar!

We have video!

Okay those that know me know I HATE being video. But my kids favorite TV program is America's funniest home movies. We sit down as a family each Sunday evening and laugh and laugh.
For the last 3 birthday and Christmas events when ask what they want for presents it has always been the same answer, a video camera. The answer I've given them each time has be a big NO. In fact it has been NO WAY.
But the new camera has a HD video capture which when played on our 32 inch TV looks really good.
The boys are over the moon, and want me to "film" them all the time. But it was Wil who we caught a funny moment on.
Sorry about the yellow.. I'm still learning.
Please beware this is my first video upload and I don't know what I'm doing!! so if it doesn't work for please let me know.

William is 3 months old

We have reached the 3 month mark. It's been alittle rocky with colds and flu happening. The poor little mite has had 2 colds, colic due to milk allergies and now is teething. All this has earned him the nickname of Grumpy pants.
Also he is sensitive to the cold and LOVES to be warm and cozy. so his favorite thing is still to be held which oldest brother is very willing to do! But he does pay us will great big smiles.
We have a new camera I'm trying to learn it's quirks in doing so I have taken "a few" photos of Wil, here are some of my favorite ones... sorry they my be slightly blurry, I'm still working out the many buttons on the camera.

William's Blessing

This Sunday we blessed William. This is the first time we didn't have family around to help, but a few friends came back to help instead. We celebrated with... dunkin donuts too ( NOT my idea, mom ).
